Software Installation

Step 1: Download the Script

• First, download the InstallSQL2019.ps1 file to your computer.

• Note the location where you saved the file (e.g., Downloads or Desktop).

• Right-click the file → Select Properties → Ensure it’s not blocked by checking the Unblock option if available.

 Step 2: Open PowerShell as Administrator

• Click on the Start menu.

• Search for PowerShell.

• Right-click on Windows PowerShell → Select Run as Administrator.

• If prompted by User Account Control (UAC), click Yes.

Step 3: Modify the Command with Your File Path

• Identify the correct path where the InstallSQL2019.ps1 file is located.

  • Example: C:\Users\YourUsername\Downloads\InstallSQL2019.ps1

  • Replace the file path change in this command
  • powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File “C:\Users\YourUsername\Downloads\InstallSQL2019.ps1“

Step 4: Run the Command

• Copy the modified command.

• Paste it into the PowerShell window.

• Press Enter to execute the command.

Step 5: Confirm Execution

• PowerShell may display prompts or warnings.

• If it asks for confirmation, type Y or Yes to proceed.
